Events

Fort Knox Spouses and Community Club (FKSCC) luncheons and general membership meetings are held on different days and times during the week to try and accommodate our members' busy schedules. The most current information regarding FKSCC events will be listed on our calendar or at the bottom of this page.

Potential members are welcome to attend one general membership meeting as a guest without becoming a member. However, we do ask that you RSVP to let us know you will be attending. To attend future FKSCC functions, you must become a member.

Reservations

Reservations are required to attend FKSCC monthly luncheons and general membership meetings, or other events. To make a reservation, please contact our .

The deadline for making and cancelling reservations is 5:00 p.m, 10 days before the luncheon and general membership meeting, or other event, unless publicized in the On Track newsletter by the Second Vice President.

You may make a permanent reservation. If you have a permanent reservation, you do not need to call or email each month. Permanent reservations also must make a reservation for a guest or cancel their reservation by 5:00 p.m, 10 days before the luncheon and general membership meeting, or other event, or by the date publicized in the On Track newsletter by the Second Vice President.

If you do not cancel your reservation prior to the deadline, you will be responsible for payment for your meal and any guests. Payments for meals are accepted in cash or check payable to the FKSCC.

If you need childcare, you may make a reservation at the Fort Knox Child Development Center (CDC). Children must be registered at the CDC for you to make a reservation for their care.

We do not permit walk-ins because we must pre-order our meals for each event. Replacements may be directly substituted on a by-name basis with Reservations no later than 24-hours prior to the luncheon and general membership meeting, or other event.

Vendors

Vendors are welcome to showcase items for purchase at our monthly luncheons and general membership meetings, or other events. Our members truly enjoy shopping with vendors during Shopping and Social Hour.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor at FKSCC events, please download a copy of the Vendor Contract and return it to the FKSCC.

Run for the Gold Horse Race - A quick overview

For those of you who are new to Gold Rush, one of our biggest events of the evening is our Run for the Gold Horse Race. Wooden horses are decorated by by local artists and members of the community. The "horses" are then auctioned off to the highest bidder. The winning bidder will then "ride" their horse for a chance at victory!

Run for the Gold is a series of races that happen throughout the evening. There will be two qualifiers and one final championship race. In the qualifying rounds, horses line up on the dance floor and compete by rolling large foam dice and moving their way to the finish line. First one there wins! The horses that win, place and show in the first two rounds move on to the championship race at the end of the evening.

The winner of the championship race will take home an awesome prize!!
